Leave Your Job The Right Way Using These Three Conditions

By George Dodson

With today's economic situation, a lot of people end up quitting their jobs to find another. Many people would agree that this would be the best choice if you feel that the job is no longer rewarding.

You then start to question if this job is really what you deserve. Is this my only option? Do this exhausting job everyday and only have time for yourself on weekends?

These thoughts can often lead to feelings of depression, stress and anxiety.

This problem however can be dealt with accordingly. Many people who have resigned from their jobs became successful from their new jobs or from their own businesses.

Prior to actually resigning from your job it is important that you think through your reasons.

Initially, you must have a valid reason as to why you have to submit your resignation to your boss. Should you be having difficulties in achieving your goals in your job then it would be wise for you to resign.

You would also need a good understanding of your current situation. Know the things that make you want to quit your current job. Does your reason involve being uncomfortable to work with others? Or could it be that you don't feel the respect from your colleagues? Or maybe because your job does not help you to improve your skills?

Because you're leaving your job you're not enjoying doesn't mean you'll get a better job. Know if your path will lead you to a better situation or state. Know that leaving your current job because it no longer helps you improve your skills and knowledge will not guarantee you something better. Try to ask yourself if you are looking for a job with lots of breaks or free time. Are you expecting more responsibility from your work? Or probably very little responsibility? Get paid using your creativity? A more logical reason? Try to be precise in the things that you want in your life.

On the final note, you should also devise a plan for quitting your present job. Action speaks louder than words as they say but it is also important that you think of your actions first. As soon as you've made up your mind to achieve something once you've quit your job, lay out a plan on how you can take that route. You don't want to leave your job without a well thought out plan. Prior to actually quitting you can research job openings you really want or spaces for rent if you are looking to have a business after quitting.

Through your plan you will have a specific goal to achieve after quitting your current job. Also, it can provide you with ease of mind as youll be setting up a back-up plan the moment you are out of your current work. With a devised plan, you will be confident to take actions which lead you to your goals. After which you have come up with a plan that will take you to better situation, you can then sign that resignation and hand it over to your boss with a smile.
